Ciccariello-Maher is a radical political theorist, writer, and Ph.D. candidate in political theory at the University of California, Berkeley. He has taught radical theory and politics at U.C. Berkeley, San Quentin State Prison, and the Venezuelan School of Planning in Caracas. He is currently working on a people’s history of the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela entitled We Created Him. His dispatches have appeared in Counterpunch, MR Zine, Venezuela Analysis, ZNet, the SF Bayview, Wiretap Magazine, and Alternet among others.

David McNally is Professor of Political Science at York University. Author of four books:

  • Bodies of Meaning: Studies on Language, Labor, and Liberation

McNally has given lively talks on the crisis in Canada, the US, South Korea, and Britain, and has written extensively on the global economic crisis for Historical Materialism, New Socialist, Relay, and Marxism 21.
